Dolly Parton in Myrtle Beach for dinner theater has changed its theme

Dolly Parton in Myrtle Beach for dinner theater has changed its theme from "Dixie Stampede" to "Pirates Voyage."

Parton say, "We thought it would be fun to try a new theme, since we are on the water, and all kids like pirates and mermaids, we thought we'd create a whole new thing and if it does well, we'll build some others around the country where there's water!"

Parton
herself says a pirate that is filled with fun new theme Dressed like. Production over 11 million dollars in upgrades full size pirate ship battle and a 15-foot deep lagoon included.

"We'll have performers working the air, working water on the ships, we'll have fighting, a lot of competition between the pirates, we'll side off the audience over who is going to win the treasure."

She also wrote alongside Mark Brymer about the brand new original score.

"It's got a lot of fun stuff, sing-a-long things, stuff to entertain people with song in addition to acts that are going on at the same time."

Parton says there will also be new performers!

Parton says, "We have new animals, we have some sea lions and all sorts of other fun sea creatures this time".

But she's keeping a little of the Southern theme.

"We kept a couple horses back, we have horses that ride a the very end of the show, that ride on water, they walk on water, so to speak, these two beautiful horses take a couple of the special stars from the show, they ride off into the sunset."
